The 2010 edition of the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress (Dubai, UAE), the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East and the second largest in the world, will be larger and improved over those of the previous years.

Established 35 years ago, the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress provides a platform for leading manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors to meet the medical and scientific community in the Middle East and beyond. More...
Arab Health 2010 will feature more than 2,500 exhibitors from over 65 countries, including 30 national pavilions and two specialized zones for medical laboratory products and international health services; four additional halls added to the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center (UAE) will enlarge the exhibition to an area covering over 85,000 square meters. An estimated 55,000 medical professionals, distributors, dealers and suppliers from 145 countries are expected to attend the 2010 edition, which will be held on January 25-28, 2010.

The exhibition covers a wide range of medical sectors, including medical technology, laboratory equipment, diagnostics, physiotherapy and orthopedic technology, commodities and consumer goods for hospitals; information and communication technology in healthcare services; surgical products and services, facility management services, medical disposables, healthcare building technology, medical services, radiology, imaging and diagnostics, and other fields.

"Last year we hit capacity and were unable to accommodate all potential exhibitors in the space available at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Center,” said Simon Page, director of the life science division of IIR Middle East (Dubai,UAE), the organizers of the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress. "But with the opening of new facilities providing a further 20,000 square meters of hall space, we are expecting Arab Health to grow by over 20% as the region continues to develop a modern healthcare system.”

Dubai International Exhibition Center is centrally located in the heart of Dubai's business district, only 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport. The venue has all the facilities an international exhibition center including meeting points, VIP lounges, Internet and business center facilities, hotels, and restaurants.
