Canon Medical Systems Europe BV (The Netherlands) is presenting its latest innovations that align with the transformative theme of ECR 2024, alongside its mobile imaging solutions tailor-made to meet a hospital's needs during challenging times.

At ECR 2024, Canon is welcoming attendees to explore the advanced features and capabilities of its brand new CT City Hopper and to learn how it's shaping the future of medical imaging. The CT City Hopper is a mobile CT unit equipped with a 160-slice Aquilion Prime SP and capable of covering all clinical needs, like Cardiovascular and Neuro applications. For post-processing, the City Hopper comes with Vitrea® Advanced Visualization on board. Vitrea® Advanced Visualization is a modular viewing platform that provides a broad range of functions with the option of adding more functionality when needed. The City Hopper is designed with user and patient experience in mind. With expandable sides, a patient staircase, and an elevator for easy access, this mobile CT unit can be placed close to any clinic or hospital. This solution can even be used to commute between different hospital locations, as the CT City Hopper only needs an hour to be set up after arriving at the location.

Canon is also demonstrating how the new Alphenix family of interventional systems has been a game changer in interventional radiology with its unique flexibility and advanced features. Alphenix's portfolio brings solutions to elevate the quality of patient care, increasing precision and accuracy in treatment procedures, improving clinical workflow, and contributing to physician and patient safety. The Alphenix systems combined industry-leading dose optimization technologies, enhanced workflow, and a new set of features to deliver images with greater clarity and precision, as well as provide patients with safe, accurate and fast imaging.

Event attendees can also visit the Canon Medical Academy at ECR 2024, the company’s dedicated educational area that bridges the gap between clinical excellence and education. Here, attendees can follow more than 30 live workshops, as well as hands-on demonstrations and presentations led by world-leading experts in radiology, presenting topics that appeal to their daily challenges. Attendees can continue their educational journey at Canon’s lunch symposium, ‘Meaningful Innovation: Discovering Canon’s Latest in Photon Counting and Area Detector CT,’ made possible by the Canon Medical Academy. At the technical exhibition, Canon is showcasing its meaningful innovations that prioritize image quality, workflow, and patient comfort and have the flexibility, versatility, and sophistication to meet today's medical imaging environment's complex demands and high standards.
