Posted on 16 Feb 2015
Merge Healthcare (Chicago, IL, USA), a leader in clinical systems and healthcare innovations, and ICT Health (Dubai), which delivers telemedicine, disease monitoring solutions, and clinical services, have agreed to collaborate to provide imaging solutions to hospitals and clinics in India, and countries in the Middle-East, and Africa (IMEA). The partnership is a strategic healthcare initiative which will provide affordable integrated clinical technology solutions in the region.

The partnership will improve interoperability, connectivity, efficiency, and quality of care. The initiative will help streamline hospital and clinic image viewing, sharing, and archiving workflows with comprehensive end-to-end solutions including integrated electronic clinical and administrative systems.

The partnership will include Internet Technology (IT) cloud solutions to improve efficiency and enable access to clinical information from remote locations. This will allow providers to work with specialists and extend care beyond hospitals to an affordable collaborative telemedicine network.

Justin Dearborn, chief executive officer of Merge, added “We are pleased to partner with ICT Health to offer imaging solutions to healthcare providers in Middle East, North Africa, and India. ICT Health has established itself as a premier healthcare solution provider in the aforementioned regions and Merge looks forward to a successful 2015 as we launch our relationship.”
