A single database application has been developed to centralize imaging workflows into one easy-to-use platform. It is an intuitive approach that scales as the healthcare provider’s needs grow. With consolidated software and interfaces, users can considerable reduce manual data entry, errors, and down time.

Signet Puerto Rico, a diagnostic imaging services provider based in San Juan, recently chose RamSoft’s (Toronto, ON, Canada) PowerServer radiology information system/picture archiving and communication system/practice management (RIS/PACS/PM) to help them standardize processes, reduce costs, and provide effective patient care to streamline and automate their workflows.

Nivia Souffront, site administrator for Signet Puerto Rico, explained the impact to their facility. “We are excited to bring in PowerServer RIS/PACS/PM because we will be able to provide better patient care and physician satisfaction while reducing our costs of delivering quality imaging services.”

The platform also streamlines administrative efforts to efficiently process claim payments and manage patient statements, contracts, fee schedules and auto-posting. The embedded financial reporting and dashboard tools rapidly and simply generate standardized reports and allow users to create custom reports to target any specific issues with a simple search query.

The platform aligns effortlessly with diagnostic imaging providers who want to automate their workflow. “Signet is our first imaging center in Puerto Rico and we are excited about helping them achieve workflow efficiencies and process automation while improving patient care,” said Marilyn Solano, sales and marketing director for RamSoft.

Signet Puerto Rico is one of the leading providers of outpatient imaging in Puerto Rico, with two facilities on the island.

RamSoft develops solutions such as the PowerServer series of PACS, RIS/PACS, teleradiology, and patient information management systems.
