UMG/DEL Appoints Director of International Sales

UMG/DEL MEDICAL (Harrison, NY, USA), a radiography equipment manufacturer, announced the appointment of Mr. Jose Garces, naming him director of the company’s international sales. Mr. Garces, an industry veteran who brings 25 years medical imaging experience to the position, will be responsible for managing and growing DEL’s international dealer network worldwide.

Toufic Lorenzo, president and CEO of UMG/DEL MEDICAL said, “We believe Jose’s industry knowledge and international sales experience in radiology make him an excellent fit for our organization.”

DEL MEDICAL, Inc. is a leading source of radiography products with over eighty years in the medical imaging business. It is primarily engaged in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high performance digital and analog medical imaging systems, which are sold and serviced through a global network of authorized and factory trained dealers. The company’s selection of configurations and accessories is designed to support hospitals, imaging centers, and clinics by tailoring systems to accommodate each facility’s various sizes, requirements and budget. The company’s radiography equipment products are manufactured in their Roselle (IL, USA) facility.

UMG Inc., a privately held company founded in 1985, is a distributor and system integrator of digital and analog medical imaging systems to the radiology community. UMG acquired DEL MEDICAL in 2009.
