Arab Health, the Middle East’s largest healthcare exhibition and congress, has returned to Dubai, having allocated the largest-ever space to exhibitors who are presenting the latest technologies and innovations.

The 49th edition of Arab Health, organized by Informa Markets (London, UK) at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 29 January to 1 February 2024, is welcoming over 40 international pavilions. Arab Health 2024 is welcoming a global audience with over 3,450 exhibitors and over 110,000 healthcare professional visits from 180 countries. Serbia and Hong Kong are making their debut at the event, while Australia, Estonia, Italy, and Indonesia are increasing the size of their pavilion exhibition space, ensuring an even greater number of exhibitors from those countries showcasing their latest groundbreaking healthcare products and advances. Other returning pavilions for the 2024 edition of Arab Health include India, Germany, New Zealand, South Korea, France, and the US, while Saudi Arabia and Egypt are among the pavilions representing the MENA region.

In line with the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Transforming Healthcare’, this year’s show focuses on the future of healthcare and the game-changing technologies utilized in the region and globally. This is being highlighted through the show floor being split into nine distinct sectors, including medical equipment and devices, disposable and consumer goods, orthopedics and physiotherapy, IT systems, and solutions, healthcare infrastructure and assets, wellness and prevention, imaging and diagnostics, healthcare and general services and healthcare transformation. A range of new features have been added to the show floor, including the Smart Hospital and Interoperability Zone in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Visitors can witness how multiple technologies seamlessly interoperate with state-of-the-art medical equipment to improve the patient experience.

Positioned within the Healthcare Transformation sector, the Zone features four demonstration rooms, including a labor, delivery, and neonatal room, giving visitors a step-by-step overview of the latest technologies utilized during birth, including electronic fetal monitoring, ultrasonography, blood pressure screening, and maternal/fetal pulse oximetry. In addition, an operating room, intensive care unit, and emergency room are also on show, providing a unique platform for equipment manufacturers, e-health solution providers, cybersecurity experts, AI specialists, and digital health disruptors to showcase their solutions and products. A dedicated Content Theatre provides a platform for exhibitors to deliver a range of scientific and educational sessions and detailed insights into biomedical engineering, patient care, cyber security, and robotic surgery.

Other features at Arab Health 2024 include the Transformation Zone, which consists of a series of talks from experts addressing topics such as nanomedicine, AI, and robotics, a range of product showcases, as well as the popular Innov8 competition, in which 24 health tech startups from around the world are pitching groundbreaking concepts and innovative ideas in a bid to be crowned the winner. Medical professionals attending Arab Health 2024 can enjoy access to 10 Continuing Medical Education (CME) conferences in the areas of total radiology, surgery, emergency medicine and critical care, diabetes, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, quality management, public health, infection control and Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD).

“Arab Health continues to underscore its popularity as a leading healthcare showcase by the sheer demand from the global healthcare industry to exhibit at the event,” said Ross Williams, Exhibition Director for Informa Markets. “In the last 49 years, we have built an enviable position as the place where professionals from the industry can see the latest innovations, hear from leading experts in a range of fields critical to the future of healthcare, and as a place to secure deals and do business. This year, we will once again provide a platform for the global healthcare market to meet in what will be our biggest show to date with a truly international focus.”
