As part of its efforts to build a worldwide sales network in the medical technology market, Sohard AG (Fuerth, Germany) has obtained two new sales partners. They are Ramsoft Technologies Inc. (Toronto, Canada) and Rogan Medical Systems B.V. (Zeist, The Netherlands). Both companies are leading suppliers of PACS. In the future, they will also sell and distribute Sohard's software program, Radin, worldwide.

Radin offers fast and economical transmission of medical imaging data between radiology, other clinical departments, and external physicians' practices via the Internet and intranet, providing doctors and patients with worldwide access to medical imaging data and diagnoses. The software simplifies communication within the clinic, thus opening up new opportunities for patient care and archiving of medical imaging data.

Radin is well suited for meeting the complex demands of mid- to large-sized clinics and hospitals, as well as for specialist practices and interdisciplinary communication, states Sohard. The software offers all relevant functions for a PACS. Sohard notes that it was one of the first software service companies in the Nuremberg region to have its quality management program certified under ISO 9001 standards.
