The merged company ranks 'Best in KLAS' by KLAS Research (Orem, UT, USA) in Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Cardiovascular Information Systems (CIS), and in hemodynamics monitoring systems. Dr. Murray Reicher, CEO of DR Systems, will become Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Merge Healthcare.

Merge Heathcare plans to continue support for DR Systems’ core platform, continue current implementations will continue, and support and advance all DR Systems’ product lines in the future.

Dr. Reicher, commented, “We are joining Merge based on our joint vision of providing a rapidly advancing, unified system for all medical imaging arenas, including radiology, cardiology and pathology.
